I got myself a couple of 1-2 foot pecan grafted trees. One of 'em was way beyond what you'd expect for that size. The cut on the tap root and the way it was packed showed that they trimmed too much off, and the remaining roots weren't secured well enough for the trip. The other three items came in just fine.

This was my first time ordering from Willis Orchard. Unfortunately, the Fuyu persimmon tree I received, which was supposed to be 4’-5’, arrived broken in half because of some rough handling by FedEx. I snapped some photos of both the tree and the packaging, and the representative from the nursery was super helpful. They sorted things out with FedEx and sent me a new tree. It was really nice to have someone to talk to during this little mess. They were very straightforward in their approach. The replacement tree is bare root and has a solid root system. Overall, I'm quite happy with how everything turned out and wouldn't think twice about ordering from Willis Orchard again.

The tree I ordered came in fantastic shape, but I couldn't plant it for a couple of days. Now, after 12 days, it's sprouting blossoms. The customer service has been awesome; I'm a newbie when it comes to trees and have plenty of questions. They've been super patient and supportive. I was on the hunt for a solid pecan variety to plant at my place in East Texas. My dad suggested I go for a Mahan Pecan since it’s a reliable soft shell that can handle the Texas climate. A quick Google search brought me to Willis. I made my order in October and got my trees on February 15. Both of them arrived alive, though one had a noticeably better root system than the other. I followed the planting instructions from Willis, and so far, they’re looking fantastic. Overall, it was a smooth experience, and I can’t wait to enjoy some top-notch pecans down the line.

I really appreciated the broad selection they offer along with the pricing. However, there are a couple of areas that could use some improvement. First off, it would be nice to get a heads-up on when my trees and plants are actually going to ship so I can be ready for them. Secondly, I wish they wouldn't cram everything into one narrow box. I get that they’re bareroot and that some plants can be bundled to save on shipping costs, but I ended up with 9 different trees stuffed into one skinny box, all taped together. This left some branches bent and broken. Even for bareroot, the pecan trees didn’t seem to be in great shape. Guess we’ll see how they turn out.

Fantastic customer support and they really follow up on any questions you shoot their way. Definitely gonna use them again, no doubt!

The trees showed up in excellent shape and exactly when expected. We stumbled upon this site by chance and noticed they offered a fantastic variety and more competitive prices compared to other places I checked out. They even had some pecan types I was on the lookout for. Before shipping, they shot me an email, so I knew what to expect when the trees got here. The site was super user-friendly for browsing and placing my order. No problems at all with my purchase.

The three crepe myrtles showed up a day ahead of what the email said. They came in a plastic wrap to keep the roots nice and moist. All three trees looked healthy and seemed ready to thrive.

The shipping updates could use some improvement. I wasn't too thrilled with how the candy pecan trees arrived. The trunk had cracks in the bark near the branches, likely from being banged around. On the bright side, the other trees seem to be in decent shape. Not sure if I’d give them another shot.

Up to now, every plant I've received has been top-notch, and my order was mostly accurate. A portion of my initial order was out-of-stock, and there was one item that didn’t make it. When I reached out to customer service, they were super helpful and sent the missing plant, even managing to include it with my next order. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Arrived just right and we stored them in big containers until we’re confident we’ve moved on from the coldest days. They look fantastic!

I found just what I needed, and the item was sent out and arrived right on time. The only downside was that I didn’t receive any heads-up about the shipping date until it was already on its way.

Over the last decade, I've placed multiple orders for pecan trees from Willis, and it's been a fantastic experience. The most recent order of two trees showed up just right, arriving a day or two after they shipped. They look amazing, and both are now planted in the yard. I gotta say, Willis has been top-notch.
